Namaste is derived from the Sanskrit language and is a combination of the words Namas and te. Namas means being open to the person being greeted, bowing, or adoring. The second person ‘Dative’ pronounce in the enclitic form ‘te’. Namaste-related terms can be found in the Hindu Scripture Rigveda. Namaste is used as a respectful form of acknowledging, greeting, and welcoming a guest, relative, or stranger.

In Vedic literature, Rishikesh is the land of sacred people who devoted their life to Yoga and called it the land of spirituality and meditation. This city is renowned as the center of studying Yoga and Meditation. It’s a traffic-free, Alcohol-free, and vegetarian enclave upstream from Rishikesh town.
